Bit of History:
One day in late November, 2002, I woke up in the middle of the night and told myself that I wanted to knit some socks. Yes, I know it is crazy, but that is normal for me :-) So, the next day off to Hobby Lobby I went and purchased some Wool-ease yarn and some inexpensive metal double point needles. I won't show you the results - it isn't pretty. I wasn't thinking and didn't get the same dye-lot and these varigated forest green socks do get worn, but only in the privacy of my own home. Socks #1 did teach me things - like how to follow a sock pattern, how to knit with double-point needles and the value of good materials.
