CATTERY NAME
The
name we chose for our cattery is Denebir. The name comes from Deneb which
is the alpha star in the star constellation Cygnus. It means the tail of
the swan. Deneb was the name of one of Mary's first cats. She was a dark
blue domestic longhair who wandered into her apartment when she was in
college. She joined her other cat Rigel who was a tabby shorthair/Siamese
cross. Along with the addition of Perseus two years later, these 3 cats
were the loves of our lives for a long time.
We honor the memory of Deneb and the others with our cattery name.
Denebir Birmans is registered with Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and with The International Cat Association (TICA).
